Welcome to the HMS Heron Volunteer Band Web

The band located at HMS Heron, Yeovilton, Somerset play for official and charitable functions including dinner nights and concerts within the local community.

The band comprises of Civilians and Service members currently numbering 35 from all three services and has a wide repertoire of music.

The Bandmaster, Band Colour Sergeant Tim Carter RM, is a serving member of the Royal Marines Band Service and has the unenviable task of nurturing the band in preparation for the many public engagements.
